Jennifer Jones is an Associate Professor in Radiography (Education) at the Peninsula Medical School, University of Plymouth. She holds HCPC registration and has extensive senior management experience across imaging modalities and organizations. She currently chairs the UK branch of the International Association of Forensic Radiographers (IAFR) and serves on the College of Radiographers' Trustees Committee. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals focused on healthcare workforce development.
She leads apprenticeship and postgraduate programs in diagnostic radiography at Plymouth, emphasizing widening participation and interprofessional learning. Key areas include clinical governance, risk management, and leadership. Jennifer has contributed to radiography education in Singapore and sits on the American education committee for imaging.
Prior roles include CQC-registered manager and Southwest Council member for the Society of Radiographers. She has pioneered foundational radiography programs and apprenticeships at Plymouth, advancing non-registered workforce progression routes.
