Jennifer Joe is the John E. Peterson Professor at the Accounting and Information Systems Department of Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business. Her research focuses on auditing practices, AI applications in auditing, regulatory frameworks, and diversity initiatives in accounting. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.B.A. from Baruch College, C.U.N.Y. Dr. Joe actively serves on PCAOB advisory groups, the Center for Audit Quality Scientific Committee, and the American Accounting Association Foundation's inaugural board.
