Jennifer Jenson is a Lecturer in the Department of Germanic Studies at the University of Chicago, part of the Division of the Humanities. She joined the department in 2018 and focuses on Germanophone literature from 1945 to the present, memory studies, and gender studies. Her research explores intersections of memory, art, and literature in post-1945 German-speaking contexts, including her master’s project on memory and resistance in Christoph Hein’s novel Trutz.
