Jennifer Herzog serves as a Lecturer in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Ithaca College, where she has taught acting since 2010. She previously instructed at Binghamton University for two years and contributed as a Resident Teaching Artist for the Hangar Theatre's educational initiatives including Project 4 'Artists In The Schools' Program and 'Next Generation' School Of Theatre.
Her academic foundation includes a B.F.A. in Acting from Ithaca College, complemented by 25 years of professional membership in Actors' Equity Association. This dual expertise bridges scholarly instruction with industry practice.
Her artistic practice centers on contemporary theatre and film performance, with emphasis on queer reinterpretations of classic works and new play development. Recent projects demonstrate versatility across film, experimental theatre, and classical adaptations, often collaborating with playwrights like Saviana Stanescu and Kate Hamill. She actively contributes to Central New York's cultural ecosystem through performance and pedagogy.
