Jennifer Grace, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Program Director in the Department of Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, College of Education. Guided by the belief that educational equity is a civil and human right, she prepares future school leaders to advocate for transformative change. Dr. Grace oversees the Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration program, serves as an academic advisor, and mentors graduate students.

Dr. Grace’s research focuses on racial equity in education, examining how policy, practice, and training address disparities. Her expertise includes Anti-Black Racism in schools, the School-to-Prison Pipeline, and Equity-Focused Leadership. Over five years, she has presented at major conferences like the American Educational Research Association and delivered international talks in Portugal and Greece.
Her publications in journals like Leadership and Policy in Schools and Education, Citizenship and Social Justice highlight her contributions to understanding racial dynamics in educational systems. Dr. Grace’s work emphasizes actionable strategies for dismantling systemic barriers.
