Jennifer Godfrey

Jennifer Godfrey is Professor of Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate students since August 2020. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Florida, M.I.D. from University of Manitoba, and B.Env.D from University of Manitoba. Her research examines failure and fear as barriers to creativity and innovation in design.

Professor Godfrey has chaired seven thesis committees and supervises student research in the resource room. She maintains industry collaborations and has professional experience in real estate and healthcare facility planning. Her awards include a 2022 SCAD Presidential Fellowship and 2021 Veranda Competition recognition. She regularly presents on leadership and creative processes, including 'The L Word: Exploring Successful Leadership' (2022) and 'The F Word: How Failure Propels Creative Thinking' (2021).
