Jennifer Fiore

Jennifer Fiore is Associate Professor and Director of Music Therapy at Western Michigan University's Irving S. Gilmore School of Music. A board-certified music therapist since 2001, she holds PhD, MME, and BME degrees from the University of Kansas.

Her clinical expertise includes hospice care for pediatric and adult patients, oncology support, and geriatric music therapy. Research examines stress coping mechanisms, bereavement support, and therapeutic interventions in end-of-life care.

Fiore chairs the American Music Therapy Association's Standards of Clinical Practice Committee and has held multiple regional leadership positions. She has established clinical training programs for music therapy students across diverse healthcare settings.
