Jennifer Eng-Kulawy

Jennifer Eng-Kulawy is an active-duty Navy Commander and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Uniformed Services University. Currently serving as Director of Education, Training, and Research at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, her career spans clinical practice, global health leadership, and military medical policy development.

• Education: B.S. in Biochemistry (SUNY Stony Brook, Magna Cum Laude), MD (Albert Einstein College of Medicine)
• Certifications: Board-certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and General Pediatrics
• Leadership Roles: Pediatric Specialty Leader to Navy Surgeon General, Director of Education/Training/Research at Fort Belvoir, Multi-Service Ward Senior Medical Officer

Her research focuses on clinical research projects and process improvement in pediatrics, particularly neonatal hearing screening and healthcare quality metrics. She has led global health initiatives including deployments with Pacific Partnership 2012 and Enduring Promise 2019.
