Jennifer Duckworth

Jennifer Duckworth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development at Washington State University (WSU), affiliated with the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences. Her research focuses on adolescent and young adult development, particularly within understudied populations, with a concentration on high-risk alcohol/drug use, sexual behavior, and prevention science.

Research Themes: Her work examines risk/protective factors for substance use, health disparities in marginalized youth, and the interplay between social role transitions and health outcomes. She employs longitudinal designs and diverse sampling strategies to address these issues.
