Dr. Jennifer Drake Patrick is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at George Mason University, serving as the Associate Director of the Elizabeth G. Sturtevant, PhD, Center for Literacy. She holds a PhD from the University of Florida and specializes in literacy integration within STEM education, particularly focusing on science teacher professional development and educational equity. Her research emphasizes improving science literacy through functional language instruction and curriculum design.
Dr. Patrick teaches courses such as Foundations of Literacy Instruction and Literacy Across the Disciplines, reflecting her commitment to preparing educators in diverse settings.
