Jennifer Chang

Jennifer Chang is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy. She specializes in experiential education, informatics, institutional pharmacy practice, and medication safety.

Research & Teaching Focus

Her research interests include patient safety and quality improvement, pharmacy education, scholarship of teaching and learning, and experiential education. She has led the design and implementation of the Pharmacist Provider Series (PPS) in the PharmD curriculum and co-coordinates the Applied Patient Safety and Quality course. Dr. Chang also leads the Basics in Precepting workshop for the Teaching Certificate in Pharmacy Education.

She actively mentors students and PGY1 residents, with a focus on ensuring their readiness for pharmacy practice through coordinated on- and off-campus learning experiences.
