Dr. Jennifer Briere is an Associate Professor of Psychology at St. Thomas More College, University of Saskatchewan. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Developmental Psychology and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. Her research focuses on child and adult development, successful aging, digital literacy, and memory processes.
Dr. Briere leads research projects examining retrieval-induced forgetting across the lifespan, children's ability to distinguish real events through drawings, and profiles of highly sensitive persons. She teaches courses in Child Development, Psychology of Aging, Human Memory, and Cognitive Psychology.
Her recent publications demonstrate interdisciplinary work spanning cognitive psychology, gerontology, and educational methods. Research frequently addresses memory verification techniques, pandemic impacts on elderly populations, and athlete psychology.
