Dr. Anagnopoulos specializes in cognitive aging research, focusing on memory-language interactions in older adults. Her work investigates age-related word retrieval difficulties, compensation strategies for memory loss, and validation of memory assessment tools for elderly populations. This research bridges cognitive psychology, gerontology, and neurolinguistics, emphasizing practical applications for aging populations.
She teaches core and specialized courses including Lifespan Psychology, Psychology of Adolescence, Gerontological Psychology, Psychology of Women, General Psychology, Seminar in Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology.
