Jennifer Baynosa

Jennifer Baynosa, MD, FACS is a Professor and Residency Associate Program Director in the Department of Surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She completed her medical education at USC Keck School of Medicine (2002), residency at University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (2007), and a breast surgery fellowship at Stanford.

• Joined UNLV as full-time faculty in 2017
• Transitioned from student clerkship director to residency program director

Her research focuses on breast cancer metastasis. She has been recognized with the prestigious Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) designation. For patient services, she is associated with the UNLV Health General Surgery Clinic.
