Jennifer Allen is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), Augusta University. She completed her MD at the Medical University of South Carolina (2010) and residency at MCG before joining the faculty in 2014. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, her expertise includes menopause, gynecologic surgery, and medical education. She currently serves as Residency Program Director and has led initiatives in teaching and clinical informatics.

Research Interests: Dr. Allen focuses on menopause management, breastfeeding promotion, robotic surgery training, and improving resident education. She has contributed to studies on labor induction methods, postpartum complications, and gender equity in clinical training. Recent Scholarship Trends: Her publications address both clinical challenges (e.g., postpartum vascular disorders) and educational gaps (e.g., resident communication skills). She has pioneered mock oral exam curricula and contributed to national teaching standards through APGO and ACOG.
