Jennifer A. Sanderfer

Jennifer A. Sanderfer serves as Assistant Professor and Simulation Educator at Colorado Christian University's School of Nursing and Health Professions while pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Colorado. With over two decades of clinical experience and international medical mission work across four countries, she integrates global health perspectives into nursing education.

Her work bridges pediatric acute care expertise with global health experiences from medical missions in Peru, Cameroon, Guinea, and Senegal (2015-2021), emphasizing humanity-centered approaches to clinical education.

As Director of Simulation and Interprofessional Education, she has led curriculum innovation and faculty development since 2012, holding leadership roles including Interim Chair. Her initiatives foster collaborative learning environments across health disciplines through advanced simulation methodologies.

She directs Colorado Christian University's simulation program, developing high-fidelity scenarios that prepare students for complex clinical decision-making while promoting interprofessional teamwork and cultural competence in healthcare delivery.
