Jenna Voss is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Disorders and Deaf Education at Fontbonne University. She holds a Ph.D. in Speech & Hearing Science from Washington University (2014), an M.A. in Early Intervention in Deaf Education (2004), and a B.A. in Deaf Education (2003), both from Fontbonne University.
Her research and teaching focus on early intervention for children who are deaf/hard of hearing, family-centered approaches, and audiological education. She has received funding for projects like The Math Lab and the Ling Speech Cards App, emphasizing inclusive education and technological innovation. Notable certifications include AG Bell Academy’s Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (since 2008) and Missouri Educator’s Certifications in Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Elementary Education.
Dr. Voss has led grants such as the U.S. Department of Education’s H325K170008 initiative, fostering interdisciplinary teacher training. She teaches courses like Family-Centered Intervention and Culturally Responsive Instruction, and actively contributes to professional organizations like AG Bell Association and Phi Kappa Phi.
