Dr. Jenna Lauren Adamowicz is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, affiliated with the Pain Research, Informatics, Multi-morbidities, and Education (PRIME) Center at VA Connecticut Healthcare System. She holds a PhD in Clinical Science/Psychology from the University of Iowa and completed her predoctoral internship at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
Her research focuses on chronic pain management, fatigue, veterans' health, women's health, and mindfulness-based interventions. She has explored topics such as the intersection of ME/CFS and Long COVID, psychological flexibility in chronic conditions, and disparities in healthcare access for rural veterans. She has been recognized with awards including the Early Career Mentorship Program (ACBS, 2024–2026) and serves as an editorial fellow for Journal of Pain (2025).
Key publications include analyses on cognitive impairments in ME/CFS patients, complementary health approaches for pain management, and rural-urban disparities in pain care for veterans. Her work bridges clinical psychology, public health, and epidemiology, with a focus on underserved populations.
