Dr. Jenna Gillett is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Buckingham's School of Psychology within the Faculty of Computing, Law and Psychology. She holds a BSc and MSc from the University of Buckingham and a PhD from the University of Warwick. Her research focuses on Health Psychology, particularly chronic pain management, self-compassion interventions, and mental defeat mechanisms. She has conducted extensive work with diverse chronic pain populations including fibromyalgia, endometriosis, and spinal cord injury patients. Dr. Gillett's methodologies include quantitative, mixed-methods, and qualitative approaches to develop evidence-based interventions.
