Jenn Nash is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at McMaster University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. Her scholarly work spans interdisciplinary health sciences, focusing on mixed methods research, chiropractic practices, and low back pain management during pregnancy. She actively contributes to education through courses like Inquiry I: Introduction (HTHSCI 1E06) and Praxis Pathways (HTHSCI 1X01–4XP3).
- 2016–2025: Taught 15+ courses in health sciences, emphasizing inquiry-based learning and group dynamics.
- 2000–2025: Published 11 articles, including studies on antibiotic protocols in preterm birth, chiropractic research methodology, and abdominal muscle thickness in postpartum women.
Her recent 2025 article on the Chiropractic International Research Collaborative (CIRCuit) highlights her role in developing practice-based networks. Earlier works (2016–2023) analyze bias in chiropractic mixed methods research, surgeon attitudes toward nonphysician screening, and virtual learning impacts. Notably, her 2021 study on Ultrasound Assessment of Abdominal Muscles bridges obstetrics and musculoskeletal health.
While her 2000 research on Lolium perenne x Festuca pratensis hybrids appears unrelated to her current role, it underscores her diverse academic contributions. She collaborates with scholars like Jason Walter Busse and Craig Bauman, with 10 publications in the last 24 years.
