Jenlyn Furey

Jenlyn Furey is an Associate Professor of School Psychology at Rhode Island College's Department of Counseling, Educational Leadership, and School Psychology. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses focused on academic assessment, intervention, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

• 2022 Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching
• Active in professional organizations: Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), Board Member of Rhode Island School Psychologists Association (RISPA), and member of National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)

Her research explores early language and literacy assessment/intervention and MTSS implementation. Recent publications emphasize technology-based vocabulary interventions, student engagement in progress monitoring, and family-school partnerships.
