Jen Gunderman is an Assistant Professor of Musicology at the Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt University, where she has been since 2004. She divides her time between academic teaching, performing, and recording. Her teaching focuses on American popular music history, and she launched the Coursera MOOC “Understanding the Music Business: What Is Music Worth?” in 2016, Vanderbilt’s first Always Available Coursera course.
