Jen Everett is a Lecturer in the Department of Studio Art at Washington University in St. Louis, affiliated with the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. Her practice spans lens-based media, installation, and writing, focusing on how Black communities produce knowledge beyond institutional frameworks.

Research Interests: Everett’s work interrogates Black cultural production through interdisciplinary methods. She explores themes of spatial justice, archival practices, and the intersections of race, gender, and environment. Her installations often incorporate photographic archives and material interventions to challenge dominant historical narratives.
