Jen Coppinger is a Research Fellow and independent producer affiliated with Queen Mary University of London's School of English and Drama. She holds roles as Independent Producer in Residence at Rough Magic (since 2013) and Manager of Rough Magic SEEDS, mentoring emerging theatre artists. Her work focuses on new writing, literary adaptations, and dance theatre, collaborating with artists like Kevin Barry, Olwen Fouéré, and United Fall.
She sits on the boards of RADE, NAYD, and Theatre Forum, advocating for arts recovery and youth drama. Current projects include Laurent Gaudé's Danse, Morob and Kevin Barry's Autumn Royal. She received Arts Council funding to develop a sustainable producing model for independent artists through international producer research and shadowing.
Key affiliations include collaborations with TheEmergencyRoom, HotForTheatre, and Poetry Ireland. Past work includes national tours like Amy Conroy's Luck Just Kissed You Hello and Raymond Scannell's Deep.
