Professor Jemma C. Hopewell is a Professor of Precision Medicine & Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH). She leads the Hopewell Group (Cardiovascular Precision Medicine) at the Clinical Trials Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU), Big Data Institute (BDI), and the British Heart Foundation BHF Centre of Research Excellence. Her roles include Group Leader at BDI, Principal Investigator, and Co-Principal Investigator for multiple large-scale studies.

Recent Work Trends: Her publications emphasize leveraging UK Biobank, genomic characterization of vascular disease, and multi-ancestry stroke genetics. Key projects include HPS2-THRIVE, REVEAL, and CARDIoGRAMplusC4D.
Grants & Advising: Leads on several national/international grants and serves on steering committees (e.g., Lp(a) Scientific Advisory Board, MHRA). Advises over 20 students and has mentored numerous fellows.
