Jelle van der Leest is a Lecturer at the Academy of Theatre and Dance (ATD), part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts, where he teaches in the Dance in Education study programme. His work focuses on inclusive dance practices, particularly for individuals with chronic illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS). He collaborates closely with Damar Lamers, founder of Stichting ReDiscoverMe, to explore how dance can empower participants through creative expression and social inclusion.
