Jelena Radisic is a Researcher at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research, University of Oslo. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Belgrade and has been a visiting researcher at the University of Bologna and the University of Gothenburg.
- Current Projects: Co-constructing Mathematics Motivation (MATHMot), TIMSS
- Editorial Roles: Associate Editor (European Journal of Psychology of Education, 2022–present); Assistant Editor (2015–2021)
Research Interests focus on teaching-learning processes, student motivation, and academic achievement. She examines these as interactions between students, teachers, and school environments, with secondary analyses of TIMSS, TALIS, and PISA data.
Publications span international journals and edited volumes, emphasizing mathematics education, student resilience, teacher quality, and educational equity. Her work often integrates quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches.
Scientific Awards include the EERA Scholarship for Emerging Researchers and two ESP Research Fellowships from the Open Society Institute.
