Jeffrey Tse

Jeffrey Tse is a DPhil student in the StatML Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Oxford's Department of Statistics, concurrently serving as a PartTime Stipendiary Lecturer at Merton College. His educational background includes a BSc in Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo, a year at the University of Warwick, and an OMMS Master's degree from Balliol College, Oxford.

Research Focus: Jeffrey specializes in causal inference methodologies with applications in econometrics and biomedical contexts. His primary interests include:

• Instrumental variables estimation techniques
• Mendelian randomisation approaches
• Computational statistics implementations
• Machine learning integration with causal models

He participates in the Econometrics and Population Statistics as well as Computational Statistics and Machine Learning research groups.
