Dr. Jeffrey O. Segrave is Professor of Health and Human Physiological Sciences at Skidmore College, specializing in socio-cultural analysis of sport. His interdisciplinary research examines sport through historical, sociological and literary lenses, with current projects on Olympic Games, sport cartoons, and tennis in American literature.
He teaches courses on Sport and Social Issues (HP 119) and Sport, Self, and Society. His scholarship contributes to understanding sport's role in cultural narratives and identity formation.
