Jeffrey S. Reber is a Professor of Psychology at the University of West Georgia, holding dual roles as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Faculty Executive Assistant in the Department of Academic Affairs. He is a leading figure in relational psychology, emphasizing the centrality of relationships in human existence, knowledge, and morality. His work bridges psychology, philosophy, and theology, addressing societal issues like narcissism and perfectionism.
Dr. Reber has authored over two dozen articles, thirteen book chapters, and three books, and has presented widely on relational psychology. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Issues in Religion and Psychotherapy and sits on four editorial boards. His teaching spans courses such as Social Psychology, Sports Psychology, and Psychology and the Holocaust, with recent syllabi from 2020-2025 reflecting diverse academic interests.
