Jeffrey M Vinocur

Jeffrey M Vinocur is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine and Director of the Adult Congenital Electrophysiology Program. He joined Yale in 2021 after eight years at the University of Rochester, where he directed the pediatric electrophysiology program at Golisano Children's Hospital. Dr. Vinocur is a pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist specializing in heart rhythm disorders across the lifespan.

His educational background includes a BA in Computer Science from Cornell University (2002), an MD from the University of Pennsylvania (2006), pediatric residency at the University of Connecticut (2009), pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota (2012), and pediatric cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Toronto's SickKids Hospital (2013).

Dr. Vinocur's research focuses on pediatric and adult congenital cardiology with particular emphasis on hereditary arrhythmia syndromes and quality improvement through multicenter registries. His clinical expertise encompasses congenital heart disease, arrhythmia management, catheter ablation (including zero-radiation techniques), and cardiac device therapy. His recent publications demonstrate growing interest in genetic arrhythmia syndromes, metabolic disorders with cardiac manifestations, and outcomes research in congenital heart disease.
