Jeffrey Lockman is a Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and has served as Editor-in-Chief of Child Development and current Editor of Advances in Child Development and Behavior, as well as co-Editor of the Cambridge Handbook of Infant Development.
