Jeffrey Lang

Jeffrey H. Lang is Vitesse Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT, with 40+ years of experience teaching circuits and electromagnetics. He holds SB, SM, and PhD degrees from MIT and conducts research in high-performance electromechanical systems, MEMS/NEMS devices, and power electronics.

Research Focus: Designs motion control systems for applications ranging from microrobotics to electric vehicles. Current work emphasizes ultra-dense power MEMS components achieving record torque/power density metrics.
