Jeffrey L. Callen is a Professor and the Inaugural Rotman Chair in Accounting at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He is actively engaged in research and academic leadership, serving on multiple editorial boards and currently as President of the Multinational Finance Society.

His research focuses on corporate valuation, accounting information and capital markets, efficiency measurement, and the economics of non-profit firms. He also contributes significantly to the fields of financial and managerial accounting and corporate finance, with a strong emphasis on how accounting data influences capital markets and firm performance.
Jeffrey L. Callen has held editorial leadership roles in top-tier journals, including former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, former editor of Contemporary Accounting Research, and former co-editor of the International Journal of Auditing. He continues to serve on the editorial boards of Contemporary Accounting Research and the China Journal of Accounting Research.
He is available for supervision of PhD, Master’s, and industry research projects, reflecting his active role in mentoring the next generation of accounting scholars.
