Jeffrey Imai-Eaton is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London. He holds affiliations with the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, the HIV Inference Research Group, and the UNAIDS Reference Group on Estimates, Modelling, and Projections. His work focuses on developing mathematical models and surveillance tools to analyze HIV epidemic trends in sub-Saharan Africa.
Education: PhD from Imperial College London (2008–2021).
Research Interests:
- Statistical methods for HIV incidence estimation
- Longitudinal cohort data analysis
- Software development for public health surveillance
Collaborations include the Manicaland Centre for Public Health Research in Zimbabwe and the ALPHA Network of HIV cohort studies. His tools support UNAIDS in tracking progress toward global HIV testing and treatment targets.
