Jeffrey Harper

Jeffrey Harper is an Associate Professor of Practice in Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business. He specializes in international education, cultural intelligence, and student motivation in study abroad programs. Harper has extensive global experience, having studied and worked in over 54 countries, and led 18 foreign study programs across Europe and beyond.

• Education: PhD in Hospitality Administration (Texas Tech), MBA in International Business (Texas Tech), BBA in Management (Texas Tech).

His research focuses on understanding student motivations for participating in international education and enhancing cultural intelligence. He expanded Rawls' international programs from 5 to 42 programs between 1997-2008, managing dual degree partnerships with institutions in France and Mexico. Harper teaches courses such as international marketing and integrated marketing communications, and was recognized for his teaching excellence in 2019 through induction into the Texas Tech Teaching Academy.
