Jeffrey H. Jackson is a Professor of History and Director of Environmental Studies at Rhodes College. He teaches courses on modern European history, including comparative Fascism/Nazism, post-1945 Europe, historical methodology, and the history of natural disasters. His research focuses on cultural history, urban studies, and the intersection of art and resistance, particularly in early 20th-century France. He has authored and co-edited multiple books on these themes and frequently engages with media as a public historian.
