Jeffrey Gornbein, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computational Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Principal Statistician in the Statistics Core of the Department of Medicine at UCLA. He also serves as a lecturer at the UCLA School of Public Health and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with prior roles at the Laboratory for Applied Pharmacokinetics at the USC Medical School and BMDP statistical software corporation.

- B.A. in Mathematics from UCLA (1978)
His research focuses on proteomics, mass spectrometry, repeated measure analysis, clinical trial design, survival analysis, and receptor binding models. He has coauthored over 150 publications and collaborated with entities such as Siemens, Glaxo, the National Genetics Institute, the FDA, and the NIH.
