Jeffrey Glover is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Loyola University Chicago. His research focuses on early American literature, colonial studies, and indigenous histories. He holds a BA from Duke University (2002) and a PhD from Yale University (2008).

His work examines intersections between colonial legal systems, indigenous diplomacies, and transatlantic media practices. Key research areas include Anglo-Native treaties, sensory histories of colonialism, and early American archival practices. He has published extensively on topics such as treaty negotiations, military communication in borderlands contexts, and the role of print culture in shaping colonial geopolitics.
Recent publications include Paper Sovereigns (2014) and co-edited Colonial Mediascapes (2014), analyzing sensory dimensions of early American communication networks. His articles explore archival historiography, indigenous geopolitical strategies, and censorship in Atlantic print culture.
He currently serves in the Crown Center for the Humanities, maintaining an active research agenda in early American studies.
