Jeffrey Chan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special and Early Education at Northern Illinois University (NIU), within the College of Education. He holds a Ph.D. in Special Education (Autism & Developmental Disabilities) from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. from the same institution, and a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. His research focuses on applied behavior analysis, leisure and recreation skills for individuals with developmental disabilities, and leveraging mobile technologies for skill development. Chan has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood to adulthood, in educational and employment settings.
