Christopher Tullis is an Associate Professor of Special Education in the Department of Learning Sciences at Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. He holds a Ph.D. in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University, an M.S. in Educational Psychology from Georgia State University, and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia. His research focuses on behavioral interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and intellectual/developmental disabilities, including problem-solving skills, video-prompting techniques, and vocational training. Tullis has published extensively in journals such as Journal of Developmental and Physical Disabilities and Focus on Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities, emphasizing evidence-based practices in special education.
His work spans behavioral assessment methodologies, communication interventions, and telehealth applications. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Ball State University. Tullis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and contributes to initiatives like the Georgia Candidate Guide to Applying for a Pre-Service Certificate.
