Jeffrey Brubacher is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine. He serves as Director of both the Vancouver General Hospital Emergency Medicine Research Program and the Road Safety and Public Health Research Lab at UBC.

His research focuses on injury prevention and road safety, with special emphasis on impaired driving, active transportation, and substance use and injury. Key studies examine cannabis and alcohol impacts on driving, medication-related collision risks, and trauma outcomes.
