Jeffrey P. Bigham is an Associate Professor at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) within the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on accessibility, human-centered AI, and crowdsourcing. He leads projects like VizWiz, which provides visual assistance to blind users, and has contributed to tools such as Rescribe and Screen Recognition for enhancing accessibility in digital interfaces.
His work emphasizes inclusive design, with a strong focus on empowering people with disabilities through technology.
