Jeffrey Bergthorson

Prof. Jeffrey Bergthorson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University, where he leads the Alternative Fuels Laboratory (AFL). His research focuses on combustion physics and low-carbon energy systems, particularly metal fuels as sustainable energy carriers. He teaches courses in thermodynamics and combustion engineering, including MECH 240, MECH 341, MECH 447, and MECH 652.
