Jeff Zimmerman

Jeff Zimmerman is a Professor of Organizational Leadership at Northern Kentucky University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice & Organizational Leadership. Holding a Ph.D. in Organizational Development / Group Dynamics from the University of Klagenfurt (2011) and an MBA with concentrations in International Marketing and Organizational Development, he brings industry experience from shipping and insurance sectors to his academic work.

His research explores expatriate cultural adjustment, ethics, trust, leadership development in multinational corporations, and organizational change. Recent publications analyze innovation in organizational goals, inclusive leadership, impostor syndrome, and adaptive leadership strategies during crises. A book on American expatriate adjustment (2011) highlights his cross-cultural focus.

Dr. Zimmerman's scholarly recognition includes the 2014 Outstanding PACE Faculty Award and the 2015 College of Arts and Science Outstanding Junior Faculty Award. He has taught at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Klagenfurt, and served as interpreter for the World Choir Games (2012) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
