Jeff Savage, Ph.D., serves as Director of the Faber Entrepreneurship Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. His academic focus lies in commercializing science-driven innovations, patent strategy, and fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, supported by an NSF grant. Previously, he served as VP of Client Engagement at Marketware, a healthcare data firm, and has consulted with startups and academic institutions for a decade. He advises the Gamecock Consulting Club and mentors in NSF's I-Corps program.
