Jeff Proske is a Clinical Professor at McGeorge School of Law, Pacific University, and currently serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Experiential Learning since July 2024. He joined the faculty in 2009 after a 20-year legal career in private practice and corporate in-house roles.
- Education: BA from University of Kansas, JD from Boston University
His research and teaching focus on practical lawyering skills, business transactions, and professional identity development. He co-created the required first-year course The Legal Profession and has authored works on legal analysis, including an article on California's Proposition 8 hearings.
Proske has extensive experience in corporate law, having served as General Counsel for National Commercial Ventures, Inc., Associate General Counsel for The Ryland Group, Inc., and Corporate Counsel for PMC Global, Inc. He contributes to the Global Lawyering Skills textbook and participates in the USRF's Legal Education Exchange Program (LEX), training Russian business law professors in modern pedagogical methods.
