Jeff Morehead

Jeff Morehead is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia, teaching on both the Gainesville and Cumming campuses. He employs multimedia teaching approaches including guest lectures and research assignments to promote active learning.

Education includes an M.A. in Art History (University of South Carolina, 2008) and B.A. in Art History (University of South Carolina, 2000). His graduate research focused on Leonardo da Vinci's designs for stage machinery, particularly La Festa del Paradiso (1490).

Research interests center on Renaissance art and historical performance technologies. Course offerings include Art Appreciation, Art History surveys, and Visual Literacy.
