Jeff Landry

Dr. Jeff Landry is a Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Technology at the University of South Alabama's School of Computing. He holds a PhD from Florida State University (1999), an MBA from the University of New Orleans (1994), and a BS in Computer Science from the same institution (1986). His primary research interests include information systems education, cybersecurity, project management, and health informatics. Dr. Landry has taught over 20 courses spanning information systems, software engineering, and IT project management, including advanced topics like cybersecurity risk assessment and agile methodologies.

His educational contributions include developing curricula aligned with ABET and IMIA standards, particularly in health informatics and data management. He pioneered outreach programs for pre-college computing education and contributed to certification frameworks like the CDMIQ exam.
