Jeff Kruth is an Assistant Professor and Director of Architecture Graduate Studies at Miami University, Ohio. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Miami University. His teaching spans urban design studios and courses on American urban history.
- Teaching roles include Miami University (2019–present), Louisiana Tech University (2018–2019), and Adjunct Faculty at Kent State University (2013–2018).
Research interests focus on urban spatial dynamics, historical urban morphologies, and the intersection of geography with urban policy. His work explores racial conflict in rural landscapes, tactical urbanism strategies, and post-industrial city regeneration.
Professional experience includes Senior Urban Designer (2015–2018) and Urban Designer (2012–2015) at Kent State University’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative, and internships with the Yale Urban Design Workshop (2010–2012).
